Oamaru Blood

April 15, 2007

Scott, Paul, Alayna and I were entered into a competition in Oamaru. We were to do scenes from Stage Blood. Rebecca Tapp was the judge that got us into the main competition. Scott hadn’t turned up yet and so we were worried that we would have to act without him. We thought that it was because of his engagement. He turned up and we were happy but then Paul wasn’t there. Our meeting place was outside of Hoyts in the Octagon. It was there that my old hair-dresser from Mornington (the place with the neon scissors) came and told us we’d been accepted but Paul couldn’t make it. When she left Scott and Alayna were teasing me about how the hair-dresser was hitting on me. I told them that no-one ever hits on me. When we got in the car I had to type up why Paul wasn’t with us in EXCEL. We discussed doing scenes without him and we all agreed that it would make the play a lot shorter.
